Description and Deliverables

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to improving the competitiveness of the Egyptian enterprises on domestic and international markets.
In particular this contract is contributing to the immediate objective: To support the development of human and institutional capacity for the formulation and implementation of a national TVET reform policy.

This project is understood as a professional training provision for Egyptian personnel in the field of TVET, in particular (training cluster):

  1. Occupational Standardisation, Accreditation and Certification
  2. TVET Centre/ Centre of Competence Management in reference to the sector Enterprise TVET Partnerships (ETPs)
  3. Trainer of Trainers Training in reference to the Master Plan Training of Trainer
  4. Guidance, Counselling and Job Seeker Promotion

Training topics include inter alia:

  1. Training in developing national occupational standards
  2. Training in recognition of prior learning/ training and work experience
  3. Training of local external/ internal TVET auditors
  4. TVET Centre financing and administration as well as staff development and performance oriented staff promotion
  5. TVET Centre Monitoring & Evaluation
  6. TVET Centre MIS and Knowledge Management
  7. Training on in-company training centre management and HRD affairs
  8. Training centre quality management
  9. Training of training/teaching personnel (Master Trainer, Trainer, Tutors) in technical subjects, (innovative) techniques, technologies and related work organizations and in teaching methods, instructional media (teaching aids) development and didactics focusing on learner centred training/ learning
  10. Training on comprehensive modular curriculum development & revision for various occupational levels  based on occupational quality standard
  11. Training on vocational guidance and counselling systems
  12. Training on job seeker active employment/ labour market programs
