Description and Deliverables

Component 4 of the overall programme will establish the basis for the step-by-step introduction of a cooperative Vocational Education and Training system in the Palestinian Territories. This VET system will enhance co-operation of public (ministries, public schools, public training institutions) and private (chambers, associations, companies, NGOs) partners and establish adequate distribution of costs.

Creation of 400 new apprenticeship places in the area of tourism and automobile branch
Rehabilitation of three training institutions

policy advice to assist in the establishment of the strategy
assistance in the implementation of pilot activities in order to achieve long-standing results
institutional strengthening of training centres
Provision of training programs for professional staff
Promote experiences in selected occupations with special importance for the labour market
