Description and Deliverables

The main objective was to monitor and assess the implementation of the Education Reform Project in twenty pilot schools and teacher training institutes and to evaluate the development of the main components of that larger Project, in particular:

Monitoring - Within the context of developing long-term institutional capacity for monitoring and evaluation of reform programs in the Ministry of Education
Assessment - Within the context of preparing an evaluation report to the Ministry of Education on the overall impact of the Education Reform Project
Research Methodologies - Within the context of developing long-term institutional capacity for educational research in the Ministry of Education
Workshops - In order to provide stakeholder feedback and technology transfer

execution of Monitoring (analysis and evaluation)
preparation and arrangement of Assessment
provision of know how related to institutional building: developing long-term institutional capacity for educational research
Conduct a series of Workshops related to education reform issues
provision of a final monitoring and evaluation report
overall project management
