Description and Deliverables
The main objective of the project was focused on strengthening the economy of the two countries through emphasizing the role of technological innovation. Main tasks for achieving these objectives included training of managers and consultants from technology support organizations, technology parks and consulting companies in the field of technology transfer, innovation management, set up and development of technology-oriented companies.
The training activities lead to the achievement of the following results:
- setting up networks for the development of an efficient and demand-oriented technology transfer
- support to the set-up and development of technology-oriented companies
- widening the know-how with regard to the evaluation of new technologies by economic, ecologic and social criteria
- set up of a consultancy competence for the establishment and development of technology-oriented companies, technology transfer and innovation management
- providing access to worldwide experience in technology and economic development
- activate cooperation potentials between research organisations and companies from different countries
- independent development of innovative concepts and evaluation of market potential
- applying for patent registrations
- evaluation of costs for specific research and development projects
Implementation of a study tour to Germany for specialists and managers in order to facilitate know-how transfer with regard to the German experience and best practices in the set up, development and tasks of innovation and technology centres, as well as their role within the European framework
Execution of a series of seminars and workshops (six seminars per country) on following subjects:
- technology management, R&D management
- technology evaluation, innovation and marketing strategies
- financing of technology institutions
- consultancy seminars (training on consultancy technologies) for technology transfer centres
For each seminar, a key expert was assigned to execute the training and provide adapted material
Implementation of a virtual discussion forum for continuous exchange of information, opinions, suggestions
