Description and Deliverables

Feasibility study: Creation of the pre-conditions for amending the training bases for technique and electro-technology areas:

Analysis of the Macedonian education system and the job market within the mentioned areas (structures, trends);
Determination of the training requirements and capacities in enterprises;
Precision of a possible co-operation between school and enterprises;
Development of a required by the job market, practice-/action-oriented specialisation training;
Development of a concept for the basic and advanced training of teachers and trainers;
Recommendations for the elaboration of teaching and learning aids.
Design of a concept for equipment planning and purchase.

Executing the services as outlined in project description. Two foreign experts worked in the field to deliver analysis and consulting services. Based on a detailed analysis of the current status of the education system and the job market, training needs and respective capacities were evaluated and recommendations drafted. In close cooperation with the counterpart, practice oriented specialist training and a train-the-trainer concept and methodology was designed, to provide the counterpart with a working scheme of VET and a mechanism of trainer capacity building.
