Description and Deliverables

The task of the team was to prepare and verify terms of reference of the restricted service tender for the provision of support to the pharmaceutical industry.

The team of experts provided services to the EAR by establishing a needs analysis for the pharmaceutical sector including the potential for privatisation and the increase of efficiency under the conditions of harmonisation with EU laws and regulations.

The experts visited several production sites and identified their needs as typical for the entire sector, including:

requirements for restructuring and reorganisation
training needs for managerial staff in the production sector and for administrative staff in the sector and the public administration
provision of training programs
improvement of the quality of production and extension of the range of production.
