Description and Deliverables

Phase 1: Team building training for 5 operational departments of the ETF. (1998)
Development and execution of training courses on teambuilding, delivered to Phare, Tacis, and MEDA.
The specialised training courses in the field of international project management covered the following topics:

Establishment of project management structures: team dynamic, opinions and principles, organisational development, motivation, development of team identity
Communication: development of communication and co-operation, team communication
Monitoring and evaluation: identification of team evaluations
Elaboration of course material, documentation
Set-up of project management structures
Project planning, Financing, Reports

Phase 2: Integrated teamwork courses for 5 operational departments plus the Directorate of the ETF (1999)
3 types of courses were held on the following subjects:

teambuilding,
communication,
efficiency of meetings

Delivered to Phare I and II, Tacis I and II, Tempus and the Directorate.

Several missions of short term experts to Italy to execute the project tasks, in particular:

Planning of the project management training courses
Development of training programme, tailored to the target group
Identification of trainees and assessment
Delivery of training courses according to time scheme established
Supervision of results
Dissemination and information activities
Reporting
Overall project management
