Description and Deliverables

Provision of comprehensive technical assistance aimed to help the local authorities in rehabilitation of local economic and educational structures, including comprehensive re-training and training of local trainers and, in conjunction with them, designing and preparing modern practice-oriented curricula for adult education, focusing on the technical professions. Besides this main part, the project had two additional specific sub-components:

Medical emergency programme
Agricultural help component with emphasis placed on the field of small-garden-development and family-based food production (self-sufficiency)

Situation and training needs analysis, based on overall economic situation
Design and delivery of re-training ("adaptation qualification") programmes for skilled workers
Training of trainers in the region
Comprehensive curriculum development
Equipment planning, procurement of technical equipment, Distribution of goods
Consulting of partner institutions, including training providers and schools
Networking support
Policy advice on implementing education strategies in accordance with economic situation and requirements
