Local Governance - Kyrgyzstan

ABU Consult, leading a consortium with B&S Europe (Belgium) has been awarded the contract for the EuropeAid Tacis project “Support to the Strengthening of Local Governance in the Kyrgyz Republic”.
The overall objective of the project is to support the process of political decentralisation in the Kyrgyz Republic by strengthening the capacity of local self-governments to manage effectively, in a democratically accountable way, the new responsibilities that they have been given and which they will continue to receive. It will be the task of the ABU Consult led consortium to improve the capacity of relevant stakeholders to contribute effectively to the decentralisation process.

Promotion of Vocational Education and Training - Palestinian Territories

ABU Consult has been awarded contracts for two components of a GTZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit - Germany Agency for Technical Cooperation) funded programme in the Palestinian Territories. One component will support the Vocational School in Nablus by providing training to counterparts, the other component will develop cooperative education of skilled workers in the SME sector.
Both components have a duration of four years.

Education and Training Programme - Vanuatu

ABU Consult has been awarded the contract for provision of Technical Assistance (Project Management) within the Ni-Vanuatu Education and Training Programme under the 9th European Development Fund.
The overall objective of the Education and Training Programme is to contribute to the development of human resources in Vanuatu by providing opportunities to children to acquire knowledge and skills by improving access to education after primary school. ABU Consult will be responsible for planning, supervising and monitoring activities of the programme for its three years duration.

Development of SME Business Services - Azerbaijan

ABU Consult has been awarded the contract for a project at the Azerbaijan Bank Training Centre (ABTC) titled "Development of SME Business Services". The project is funded by the International Finance Corporation and BP Exploration Caspian Sea. In the framework of this project ABU Consult will deliver training courses, develop and provide training material, conduct train-the-trainer programs and organise study visits. Project activities will commence in November this year and will be carried out for 22 months.
