Entrepreneurial Learning in Education Systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina

ABU Consult Berlin, as lead of an international consortium, has been awarded the contract for the "Entrepreneurial Learning in Education Systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina" project, funded by EuropeAid.
The overall objective of the project is the provision of support to the social and economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the continuation of educational reform and development of life-long entrepreneurial learning with specific reference to the country's commitment to the human capital dimensions of the European Charter for Small Enterprise and the provisions of the Oslo Agenda.

ABU Consult Berlin has been awarded the contract for the GTZ funded "Support to a Demand-oriented Vocational Training Network, Phase II" project in Kyrgyzstan.
The project design aims at an integrated approach to improving the quality of vocational training and employment services. The objective of this contract is the introduction of selected procedures and instruments of certification on a pilot basis.

In the recently released ADB fact sheet for Germany, the Asian Development Bank ranks ABU Consult Berlin among the top 10 German consulting firms for both ADB loan and ADB technical assistance contracts for the years 2004 to 2008. ABU Consult Berlin, as member of an international consortium, has been awarded the contract for the "Rehabilitation of Rural Schools and other Social Infrastructures in Fergana Valley of Kyrgyzstan" project, funded by EuropeAid.
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to alleviating poverty in the Fergana Valley of Kyrgyzstan through improving the social welfare infrastructure by rehabilitation of rural schools, infrastructure development and capacity building for community development. In particular this project provides necessary technical assistance for the rehabilitation of rural schools, development of related infrastructure (esp. clean water supply infrastructure) and capacity building in the Batken, Osh and Djalalabad regions of Kyrgyzstan.

This contract is part of the larger "Assistance to the Reform of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training System in the Arab Republic of Egypt (TVET Reform Project)"
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to improving the competitiveness of the Egyptian enterprises on domestic and international markets.
In particular this contract is contributing to the immediate objective: To support the development of human and institutional capacity for the formulation and implementation of a national TVET reform policy.
